How might we strengthen the structure and improve the navigation and information architecture of the website so that the users have an intuitive experience which in turn generates leads and increases customer base for CDG?

During the exploration stage, we conducted two essential tasks: a thorough review of the website’s user experience (UX) and a detailed analysis of our competitors. These efforts yielded valuable information about consumer behavior, drop-off points, areas of maximum engagement, exit rates, and abandonment rates. Our skilled data engineers employed tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Heat maps to identify any problem areas on the website. The valuable insights gained from this audit played a crucial role in ensuring that the new website effectively addressed all issues and fully utilized the potential of content magnets.
Following an extensive research process, we successfully compiled a comprehensive collection of crucial elements pertaining to website architecture, colors, navigation, CTA placements, and font style. These diverse components were organized and streamlined through a meticulous define process, converting scattered information into a coherent and significant foundation for our forthcoming approach. Our commitment to precision and refinement ensures that these elements will harmoniously merge, leading us towards an exciting and effective strategy to enhance our platform’s user experience and overall impact.

For CDG, our creative process involved competitive analysis, understanding client inspirations, creating information architecture flows, and utilizing hand-drawn sketches and low-fidelity pages. By combining these steps, we made sure a comprehensive exploration of design ideas, early brainstorming, and alignment with client objectives. This ultimately led to a successful and user-centric final design.
Before: The menu items didn’t provide clarity and categorization.
After: The menu was restructured into clear sections and relatable vocabulary was used so the users are able to understand the product and services offered.
After: By implementing breadcrumbs, we provide users with clear navigation cues, allowing them to easily understand their current location within the CDG website and navigate back to previous pages if needed.
Before: Generic phrases were used mostly for the CTA, making them ineffective and ambiguous.
After: Assertive but simple language for the CTA’s at convenient locations were designed for quick access.
Before: Outcomes Based Security Program graphic on home page did not provide clarity about the services it covered.
After: Infographics give an effectively present complex information in a visually engaging and easily digestible manner, making it simple for viewers to understand and retain key insights.
Before: Lack of content hierarchy lead to confusion and frustration for users as information appeared disorganized and difficult to locate, resulting in a suboptimal user experience.
After: By refining the content hierarchy on the CDG website, we have enhanced the organization and prioritization of information.
